I’ve been working on some logo designs, so I’ve been absorbed with that these past few days. Creative work, but preliminary, so I cannot post quite yet.

Day 222: Jewelry design. When I started, I had no idea how I was going to use these kyanite beads. As I kept trying different configurations, I realized that I wanted to add texture to the bead itself, which resulted in wrapping it with wire. That too seemed odd on its own, so I kept playing with more configurations and landed on the chain fringe at the bottom. The wire & chain elements add so much more visual interest to these earrings than if they were just plain beads attached to an earring wire.
